Heeyoung Profile Picture
UX Researcher & Designer

"I love to be curious, persistently learn and improve the new challenges for the social benefits and people."

Currently, I'm working as a UX/UI designer to create an app and web design for a blockchain enterprise and cryptography company in Hong Kong. I focused on providing seamless design solutions and an enjoyable experience for the users with user-centred design processes and agile methodologies.

Also, I'm a part-time lecturer and course developer in the Applied Ageing Studies Programme at the Singapore University of Social Science.

I have obtained a PhD degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During the PhD course, I researched user experience and created intelligent textiles and apps for people with dementia to have sensory-focused and cognitive function training activities. The research outcome was finalised in a few international awards.
